Guhhhh this was so much work. @_@ *falls over and dies* Anyway, now that I've finalised everything about his design, here's a Rasmus reference! With my possibly-illegible handwriting, because apparently using a font would be too easy. I'd like to do one of these for Tanya as well at some point, even if I don't do any of the others.

Also, here's some additional character info:

He's of mixed Danish-Swedish heritage, but he was born and raised in England (as was his mother). The only obviously non-English thing about him is his name, which he's resigned to people always mispronouncing. His favourite music genres are goth, punk, and indie, though he likes a bit of everything. Although his entire wardrobe is black, his favourite colour is actually light blue.

He's a very sensitive, artistic, and emotional person who daydreams a lot. He's quite clumsy with regards to general movement, but extremely precise with fine movements (such as doing things with his hands). He can be rather silly and childish and is kind of a ditz -- not a complete idiot, but definitely rather spacey, forgetful, and at times oblivious, prone to 'blonde moments'. On the other hand, his often non-linear thinking sometimes leads to moments of unexpected genius as well. He tends to be playful, flighty, and adventurous, but sorely lacking in foresight. He usually has fun even when things go wrong, though.

Despite what his appearance would suggest, he actually eats a lot; he's the sort of person who somehow burns a ridiculous amount of calories just doing nothing, and he has the nigh-insatiable appetite to match. He's especially fond of sweet and sugary things, but he'll happy eat just about anything.

In addition to singing for his obscure band, he also plays piano sometimes (mainly as a hobby) and likes to draw and paint and all that. He loves horror movies (both good, genuinely scary ones and cheesy, unintentionally hilarious ones), and in general he's fascinated rather than frightened by creepy/spooky things (as one might expect from a goth). He also enjoys videogames a lot and is often the person Roxy asks when she wants to play a game with somebody.

His outlook on life is the philosophy of absurdism en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absurdis…, a sort of positive/optimistic version of nihilism -- in (very brief) summary, life is inherently meaningless...so it can mean whatever you want it to mean; have fun!

He's in a polyamorous BDSM-filled relationship with Tanya and Miyuki; Tanya is his main dom, whilst Miyuki is more of a secondary dom who defers to Tanya (who she's submissive to). Their relationship is very open, in that they have emotional bonds with each other, but they're fine with the others casually sleeping with and/or doing kinky things with whoever they want on the side.

...I'm sure I'm forgetting some things, but that's enough probably.

Good ref, I actually really enjoy your handwriting and the way you outlined it to make it pop. I think there's a site called MyScriptFont or something like that where you can turn your own handwriting into a font if that interests you.

Really like the way you're shading mouths lately. Not in some furry way but you make the flesh look distinctly soft and... mouth-like.

I need to see a scene of one of Rasmus's blonde moments omg.
